The Naval Air Station Hospital in Pensacola Florida contracted Comfort Systems USA Southeast to perform repairs and rennovations to the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors of the building. During construction, the medical facility was occupied and fully functional. The work was done in two phases. Phase 1 consisted of the partial renovation of the 3rd floor and complete renovation of 5th floor. Phase 2 consisted of the complete renovation of the 4th floor and penthouse.

OUR ROLE
CSUSA performed as the HVAC mechanical contractor for this project. All mechanical work was self-performed. Our work included a partial mechanical renovation of the 3rd floor administration area, a complete renovation of the 4th floor operating room / surgery suites, and a complete renovation of the 5th floor patient rooms. Included installation of (8) custom air handling units, (82) variable air volume boxes, (11) fan coil units, (3) hot water unit heaters, (7) steam humidifiers, (9) exhaust fans, new supply and return exhaust ductwork and new chilled and hot water piping.
